Okay, the cat's out of the bag. I'm a closet Trekkie. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to this ride/simulator/museum at the Vegas Hilton, and we were not disappointed! While the ride is your standard simulator (think Disney's Star Tours), the pre-show and loading experience is just unbelievable. I won't give away what happens, but if the ride ended with just getting on board the simulator, it was worth the price of admission. A note of caution- don't let the employees rush you through the museum of the future, even if a "ship" is leaving soon. It's chock full of cool artifacts and Trek trivia. Also, after you disembark, you're tossed into a pretty neat Trek-themed casino and restaurant.
