This coffeehouse has become a favorite not only for it’s locally roasted blends, drip coffees and espresso drinks, but also for its attitude. It’s more than just a hangout- You can sip your java knowing that it is Certified Fair Trade to the last drop!
What is Certified Fair Trade coffee? It means that the coffee not only meets with environmental considerations, but also insures that the indigenous people who picked the beans were paid fairly.
I pick up a bag of my favorite beans to take home every week- I highly recommend Heart of Darkness for anyone that loves a smooth, rich coffee that is deep, dark and flavorful. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is often live music being played on the piano.
