Rex is an awesome Italian Food store where you can buy have terrific, homemade sandwiches and salads. Their menu and their choices are vast, so you may find yourself planning to go back to sample more of their specialties.
If you like cannolis, the cannolis at Rex are some of the best I've had. I also recommend their Italian sub, it was delicious and I ordered the 6 inch and had to bring half of it home. Their salads, especially their seafood salads were outstanding.

I went to J Nail Club last night located at Fullerton and Greenview and I was very pleased with the service I received. I thought that the salon was extremely clean, tide and neat. The furniture was very new and up to date. I felt very welcome and the staff was friendly. I'd like to go back to try out there pedicure stations. I did not make an appointment and it was no problem for me to walk in, this is good to know for future reference.
If you are in the area and need a manicure, I suggest giving it a try.

The Book Cellar is truly a relaxing and soothing atmosphere. I think they have a diverse and interesting selection of books and their staff is very helpful. Yes, as others have said, you can choose between coffee or wine and it is quite enjoyable to grab your beverage of choice and read at the cozy cafe. If you find yourself in Lincoln Square, the Book Cellar is a must stop. I also really like their cute stationary.

My family has been enjoying the wings, burgers and sandwiches at the St. James for years. The service is always prompt and friendly; in fact, I know that much of their wait staff has been there for years. The have a great wine list and beer selection. They crowd is jovial and warm at the bar, should you choose to go there for a few drinks. This is a great hang out that also serves up delicious food. This is truly one of my favorite places to enjoy buffalo wings!

The sandwiches are the Great American Bagel are wonderful. Their bagels are fresh and delicious. I have found that my favorite bagel is the everything bagel. I have never had to wait a long time in line there, which is great that the staff is quick and efficient in moving things along. It is also convenient that there is a parking lot right in front of the store.

Nail Gallery, located at Armitage and Damen is a fabulous salon for a manicure. The staff is attentive and kind. They are respectful of their patrons and the salon is the epitome of clean. I was impressed with the quality of manicure I received and the manicure last a week, which in my opinion a good manicure should. I would sugget testing out their service, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Lux Bar located at Rush and Bellevue is a great place to grab a few cocktails after work. I had the proseco they had on their wine list and it was delicious. I thought Lux a nice compliment to the Rush area, the inside of the bar and restaurant is decorated in great fashion and has a crisp, elegant look to it. The bartender was awesome, the epitome of friendly and helpful.

I had been taking my clothes to neighborhood cleaners for about 7months. I thought they were doing a good job, but my honest gut reaction was that I've been to better dry cleaners. I brought one of my dresses there recently and I was very disturbed to find that the cleaning of the bottom part of the dress was extremely inadequate. I felt that a simple soil that was on the dress should have been removed. I also realized they don't dry clean the clothes there, they ship them out and I'd rather use a dry cleaners where the work is being done in the store.

I was at Grace O'Malley's for a private party and the upstairs room that they use for these types of events was really wonderful. There was plenty of space to mingle and circulate. In addition, there was friendly service provided by the 2 bartenders. The food choices, obviously made by the event planners were great. I really enjoyed their cheese tray!

Needless to say there are numerous options for pizza in Chicago. My favorite place to get a great Chicago style deep dish pizza is Art of Pizza on Ashland. The pizza is well made and delicious. I've ordered from other places only to receive messy, undercooked, doughy pizza. Not at Art of Pizza, their pizza is firm and the sauce used is very flavorful. The service is great, both in the store and over the phone. It is worth checking out.
