Chef Manchu Chan Kaze Sushi is found on Roscoe Street in Chicago just west of Roscoe and Damen.
Chef Manchu Chan has created a menu that is full of variety and flavor. Chef Chan uses unique ingredients and tops his sushi with a wide range of different vegetables, sauces and fruits. I found the bonito sushi, which I learned is a relative to tuna to be extremely tasty. The spicy tuna eel roll had a beautiful color and was delicious. The menu is enhanced by what Kaze calls their “Seasonal Menu.” This is an opportunity for Chef Chan to exhibit his outstanding work in creating unique and appetizing sushi and fish creations.
Sampling any of the items on the “Seasonal Menu” is suggested by the staff and quite frankly you will find yourself intrigued by the many options this menu contains.
The staff was attentive and informative. In addition, wine list is very appealing, which many choices to compliment your meal.
If you are a fan of sushi and interested in a dazzling sushi experience, that is unlike everyday sushi, try Kaze. Don’t forget to make reservations.
