In Fine Spirits

I really like this local wine store that opened just one year ago in Andersonville. First, I'll begin by saying that the owners have a neat story. On their website you can learn that they were married at a Michigan Winery and share a love for wine. Their decision to open this store was obviously a risk and they have posted journal entries on their website detailing their experience opening a business. I thought this was interesting as I was unaware of all that is required to open a store. The store is bright and open. They always have staff on hand to help answer questions and direct you to wines that you may not be familiar with. I really like how they have one table that has wines for sale at the price of $12 or under. This has been a great way for me to learn about new wines and try something different. In Fine Spirits has wine tastings each month. They have chosen to have some of these wine tastings be complimentary. I find this a great way for customers to learn more about their store and again, learn about new wines customers may not have come into contact with. The first wine tasting I went to there was very pleasant and the hand out they provided on the wines being tasted was helpful. I would suggest visiting this store if you have a desire to be introduced to a wide variety of wines and you are interested in supporting a local business that has recently become part of the Andersonville neighborhood in Chicago.
