The Lyric is one of the world’s best opera houses. In the last few years, it has also been the envy of other houses across the country because of its high season ticket holder rate.
It has recently been rehabbed, so it sparkles and radiates its beauty.
They put on some of the best productions in the world.
It is conveniently located on Wacker in the Loop, so its easy to get to via public transportation.
I'm partial to Puccini myself, but if you've never given opera a try, check it out, you may end up loving it.
