We've been going to the Metro for shows for years. We were so happy when this place opened next door. We stopped in late after a concert one night and had one of the best meals we've ever had.
The menu has changed since then, but it is still terrific! They have a great selection for vegetarians, as well as some truly different selections (my husband loves their ostrich). Recently the menu has add a bit of Mediterranean infusion to it –to its advantage, I think.
We were there a few weeks ago with some friends and they couldn't believe how cheap it was in comparison to similar fares at other restaurants.
They also did a terrific job decorating it, so it has this really cool ambience to it.
I took my husband there on one of our first dates. I took my parents there after a Cubs game and they loved it.
