Cinnabon makes a mean, fine cinnamon roll..gooey, buttery, cinnamony (is that a word?), and down right delicious. These rolls are also huge, so you won't go hungry. The icing is the best, so ask for a spare tub..hey, you're already ingesting hundreds of calories here (Iets be honest now), so why stop with just a little icing when you can spread it on thick? They also have a fine nutty caramel roll...it's a tough decision. Mini rolls somehow make you feel less guilty, too.
The stores also have beverages and coffee drinks.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is not my favorite Mexican restaurant, and I know I am going against the "trend" here. Although the idea is good, and all of their ingredients are very fresh, they put way too much cilantro in their salsas, and I believe their rice. If you are not a huge fan of cilantro, like me, you won't care for this place either. It permeates the food.

Chanhassen Dinner Theater is a fun dinner theatre, located in Chanhassen Minnesota, about 20 minutes west of Downtown Minneapolis. They have three stages and offer a variety of plays, with the main stage usually focusing on well known musicals. This is a professional theatre and the shows are very well done. The sets and costumes are also always amazing. Not only do you get a great show, the food is actually quite good. For the price of the show, you get dinner. There are many choices to choose from, including chicken, walleye, and steaks. They offer a full bar service as well. The smaller theatres offer non musicals and shows that are a little less known. The theatre offers plenty of parking and also has gift shops.

Champps is a very good casual restaurant and bar. They have several locations in the twin cities. They offer good, interesting food. Even though its the typical burger and sandwich joint, their pastas and meals are just a little more interesting and flavorful. They have a full bar with many fruity drinks and good martinis. Each restaurant also has several t.v.s, some with large screens, to watch your favorite game. Depending on the location, some also have live d.j.'s. Champps also offers pull tabs, if you are feeling lucky!
Check it out for a casual night out.

Looking for the best coffee in Mpls/St. Paul? I believe it is Caribou. Locals probably have tried this..so this review might be of no interest to them. But for out of towners, check it out! Caribou has a real lodgy feel..lots of pine furniture and decor. They have many varities of coffee and other drinks, including my favorite..the caribou coolers. The Vanilla is my favorite, because it is very refreshing yet not as sweet as the chocolate. Caribou also has sandwiches, gourmet cookies and rolls, coffee mugs, stuffed animals, gift packs, and greeting cards. Everyone I know would love a gift card from Caribou..the perfect gift!

Byerley's Grocery Store is hands down the best grocer in the twin cities. They have several locations. Byerley's has carpeted ailes and a relaxing, calming, soothing decor! It is not your warehouse style store. They offer a wonderful meat department, deli, cheese section, bakery, and fine carryout items such as chinese food, pizzas, and grilled sandwiches. Try their famous Ultimate Brownies for a real treat. Or, get a cup of their wild rice soup...it is to die for! Most locations still have the old fashioned drive up service, for the bag boys to put the groceries in your car. The prices are higher than your warehouse store, but the fine brands and fine food will make you WANT to shop for groceries.

Bunker's Bar and Grill hosts some good local live music for Minnepolis/St. Paul. It is located on Washington Ave, between Downtown Mpls and North Minneapolis. This place is a "hole in the wall" in terms of decor or style, but if you want a come as you are type of place, it's a good place to check out. They do get some good musicians in here. They most always do have a cover charge. They do have a small lot, or there is street parking. I have not tried the food, though I wouldn't expect anything outstanding on that front; I really do believe this place is more about the beer and the music.

Like Wings? Who doesn't. Buffalo Wild WIngs is a chain restaurant, but who cares? They make good wings and they do not lie. They offer so many flavors of wings that it is hard to decide on what to eat. Whether you like it super mild or so flaming that you really should have a firemen next to you, you'll find a flavor you will like. They even have a new creamy garlic parmesan. They have a full bar as well as many menu items that are not wing related, in case somebody in your crowd is not in the mood for a little wing action. The restaurant is casual and sporty themed, with multiple t.v.'s to watch the game.

Buca di Beppo is a fantastic Italian restaurant located in Minneapolis, MN. This restaurant is a casual, traditional Italian (think red checkered tablecloths and kitchy figurines and old black and white pictures of the fat lady down the street). Most of the entrees are all family style, so this a perfect place to bring crowds and each get to try a little of each dish. The portions are HUGE so you will not go hungry. Whether you are eating pizza, caprese salad, spagetti and meatballs, or chicken marsala...the food is all flavorfull and delicious. My favorite dessert is the cannoloni's...that are stuffed with creme cheese mixture and chocolate sauce. Also, do not order a meal without a portion of the garlic mashed potatoes..simply one of the best I've ever tried.

If I had to pick a favorite "good food" fast restaurant, it would be between Boston Market and Noodles and Company. I LOVE Boston Market. Boston Market has the best ham, chicken, turkey, and meatloaf. The meatloaf carver sandwich is to die for..thick rich meatloaf with plenty of catsup on the top cut and put on a sub style sandwich. They also have many "side items" such as dill potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed spinach, baked apples (yum), soup, salad, and others. You can get meals with 2 or 3 sides, or just a sandwich or even a salad or pot pie...it's all so good the hardest thing is deciding what you want! Boston Market offers catering as well, so it's a great place to pick up a catering menu for your next office gathering or even Easter Dinner. Are you hungry yet???
