This small store on Kapiolani has so much nice furnitures for sale but most of it is overpriced. Of course, the quality is definitely there but you will pay an arm and a leg for it. It caters to the high end spenders who do not care about prices.
It is a good idea to go there and look and get some ideas as to what type of furniture you want for your home and if it is too expensive, take the idea and go shop elsewhere.

The Alii Kai Catamaran is a cheap but fun alternative if you are looking for a sunset cruise. In fact, the crowd at these cruises are usually more merrier and you may end up having a even better time than the more expensive cruises. The dinner is buffet style and there is constant entertainment all night long. Go with your friends or family and it is an excellent event for locals or tourist.

Plan to go on the Star of Honolulu for that next special event - birthday, anniversaries, etc. because it will be worth it. The entertainment is great, the ship is huge so there is minimum rocking, the food is good and service is great. It is a fun place to spend the night and enjoy the evening out at sea. The deck area on the top floor is very romantic and you can gaze at the stars. The prices range from $50 on the lower decks and up to $100 on the top deck. It is well worth the money.

Restaurant Row is almost like a business center with entertainment at night. One of the hottest clubs on island is located there as well as the dollar movie theatre. Many other business in there which most people don't even know exist. At one point, Restaurant Row was dying down as the movie business slowed because of the consolidated theatres being built near by. Now it is slowly reviving and the night life in that area is great. Parking is plenty and usually free with validation.

My brother used to love going to Jungle Fun located in the Ala Moana Shopping Center. They have a full arcade inside with games for all ages to play or watch. The prizes are fun and of better quality than those offered at Fun Factory. I think Jungle Fun is perfect for the mall so the kids can stay there to play and have a good time while their parents do some shopping.

My brother loves going to Toys N Joys for the latest games and toys available. They are a small, well-run company with a good selection on cards and other collectibles. They also sell a lot of japanese anime products - models, posters, stuff animals, etc. It is probably one of the few ones on the island selling a combination of american and japanese items. So if you're looking for something in particular, give Toys N Joys a shot.

Foodland is my usual stop for groceries and their products are always fresh. I like their lay out of the foods as they are divided in to Fruits & Vegetables, Meats, Gourment foods, etc. I buy all my groceries there and don't have to stop at another grocery store for something else.
Everyweek, they advertise in the Mid Week paper and they always have really good deals.

Scion Hawaii is really building a name for themselves as a dealership that is easy to work with and a pleasure to buy from. No haggling and everything is straight forward. My sales guy was so nice and was cool with whatever decision we decided to make. I test drove the tC and it was totally worth it for the money. Of course, the outside looks better than the inside but with all the upgrades as a standard, you really can't ask for more.
It was a pleasure shopping at Scion Hawaii.

I heard they train their employees for 1-2 years before letting them cut and color hair by themselves so that says a lot about their company's main concerns. The price is probably one of the highest on the island but when you get a haircut or color your hair there, people can totally tell the difference that you got it done "professionally."
