Video Store Nazi's... till you get to know them.

Friday, December 30, 2005
I seriously felt like I had walked into the Soup...I mean Video Nazi's place when i first visited Scarecrow in the U-district. The selection is amazing though...I could get lost here looking for great indie/under-appreciated films. Standing in line to ask a question is a bit tiresome since you have to wait for people who are checking out as well... they do have a couple computers that aren't too easily seen at first but are in the main area and you can use them yourself. Again... this is the place you go if you want to find something interesting by that director you really like who made that one film you really liked... they'll know what you are talking about. Prices are about 3.75 for normal rentals and they have 4 day, 2 day and other rental lengths depending on how old the dvd is or whether it's a show or movie. Easy parking... on street or in their free lot. Nice staff, just start out your relationship right and ask them about some cool indie film before you go ahead and rent a cheesy comedy from the new release section.
