The Door offers young people amazing alternatives and learning opportunities during out-of-school time. They have DJing classes, graphic design, music, breakdancing all in one place and its all free. They also offer health services, childcare, college prep courses, and all sorts of academic supports. This is a must stop for any teen.

They have an excellent selection of wisdom and far eastern philosophy books and self discovery. Next door they have a place where you can relax, kick back or sign up for yoga and meditation classes. Sufi will blow your mind.

They also play free movies sometimes but you have to check their website to find out dates and times. I recommend for anyone who has kids or is on a limited budget.

They also have these boxes where for a dollar you can little rolls of wisdom printed on paper. They are usually just quotes from Buddha. It's like getting a fortune cookie only without the cookie.
