We went to Dinette, a restaurant on Olive Way. The ambiance was elegant but casual. We had the walnut and fig toasts--which were yummy and more filling than I would have expected. My friend also had the chicken liver mousse, which was delicious, if you like that type of food. Our pasta was very nicely prepared. A notch above just regular pasta. The prices are a bit on the high side. But worth it.

I've been getting my haircut with Lisa for the past few years, and she does a great job with my hair. I'm a bit lazy and only get my haircut about every 6 months--but my hair looks great the entire time. Usually, haircuts don't last that long. (I should mention that my hair is straight--not sure how she does with curly hair.)
She starts with a quick scalp massage, which is always a treat. And she offers great tips and hints about whatever hair problems I have.
