Socially Conscious Dining

Thursday, September 28, 2006
Plymouth Cafe is run by Plymouth Housing Group--an organization that provides housing to homeless and very low-income people. The cafe is on the first floor of one of their buildings--and has great sandwiches and salads. If your office sometimes orders lunch to be delivered--they also provide that service. It's an easy way to support a great organization. The food is quite good and reasonably priced. There is a great lighting fixtures in the middle of the cafe--that holds ping pong balls with names of people who have donated to the organization. (I thought that was a cool way to recognize donors.) They are open for breakfast and lunch. I've had a really good breakfast sandwich there. Check them out.
