I've been there for brunch and a mid-afternoon lunch. Both times, I went in hungry, and both times, I left with a full stomach. Prices are moderate so it's okay on the wallet. However, there was nothing much to write home about. These days, it seems you can get comfort or Southern food most anywhere in the city, so I can already think of a couple places better than this:
- Mama's Food Shop (in Alphabet City)
- Great Jones Cafe (on Great Jones and Lafayette)
