The quality and variety of clothes offered is really good. Much better than Marshalls and Ross. You can also find household items as well as a decent selection of shoes available.

I went here months after I noticed a very small crack on my windshield. The person I dealt with was friendly and up front about the risks of the repair. The service took a little longer than I expected (around 45 minutes), but maybe that's because of all the dirt and debris that accumulated over the months. I hardly notice the repair unless I stare at it, and most of the time it indetectible since my windshield seems to get dirty quite easily. They offer a warranty and pricing was competive. As a side note, there's a nice Italian market nearby. Good place to go to make the wait go by faster!

What I like most about this video shop is they carry a lot of older VHS movies that I haven't seen in a while or that may be out of print. For example, I was able to find that Brooke Shield's flop Endless Love here. Otherwise run-of-the mill video rental place. They do offer a promotion I believe on Tuesday nights in which you can rent a movie for 99 cents. And if anyone is interested, they do have an adults-only video section.

I usually go here to get my car cleaned during my lunch break. It's usually busy when I'm there, but they have a nice waiting area. Inside there is a mens and womens bathroom as well as tables and chairs and a tv. Outside there are chairs so you can keep an eye on your car. They have consistently done a good job washing my car and prices are competitive. Make sure to pick up a frequency card. After your 10th cash, your next one is free!

Scottrade rocks! After switching from one online broker to another, I settled on Scottrade. Unlike other brokers, they do not charge you an inactivity fee. They have low commissions and because there are branches all over the place, you can actually talk to someone in person. The San Gabriel Scottrade branch is located in a shopping center which is next to the San Gabriel Hilton.

When it comes to club shows, The Troubadour is still is tops in my book. They attract better acts especially up-and-coming bands and artists, and it has a more welcoming vibe. Whisky A Go Go isn't a bad place to see a show, but I don't really like the Sunset Strip vibe. It's not as bad as Viper Room, but I still prefer the Troubadour. The stage is a bit high so if you're up front, you'll probably have to look directly up. I usually park at a $5 lot nearby so parking hasn't really been an issue for me.

I usually get a season pass to this place. I love roller coasters and Magic Mountain has the best ones out there! My favorites are Goliath and X. Unfortunately X always seems to have a min 2 hour wait and fast lane passes do not apply to X which is really lame. Magic Mountain is geared more towards adults who enjoy thrill seeking rides. They do however have a section of rides geared towards the kids. It's not as clean and hospitable as Disneyland, though. Some times you'll see troublemakers who are drunk or just wanna cause trouble which makes things quite uncomfortable. They also keep raising parking rates every year which is also annoying. Try to avoid the older rides if you don't want a rough going. Examples include Revolution, Viper and especially Psyclone. Avoid Psyclone if you don't like it rough.

I usually go to this mall since it's near work. It's a smaller mall than West Covina Plaza and Santa Anita Fashion Park but usually not as crowded. This mall is geared more towards middle class consumers so you won't see any upscale shops but you can find affordable clothes and items. They also have a Marie Callendar's which is tempting since it seems I always buy a pie there.

This mall has almost everything! It's geared towards the middle class so the shops aren't as upscale as you'll see at some other malls. But you'll get more affordable clothing and things here. My favorite places to visit are Tower Records, Jamba Juice (just outside of the mall), Oriental BBQ at the food court and Mel's Coffee (blended iced green chai or the white chocolate chiller). Make sure to check the service desk and pick up a coupon flyer. There are great discounts on it!
