Great place to stay if you're in DC. Affordable, clean rooms. From walking distance to The Capitol, the White House and many other federal buildings, Harrington Hotel is conveniently located near the subways and busses and nearby drug stores and restaurants. People are also very friendly. Definitely would stay here again!

This seems to be where I grab a bite to eat before a show at the Glasshouse especially after Taco Nazo and (it seems) Red Hill Pizza are closed. Inexpensive and quite good, this place has pretty cool murals. The bathroom even has a timer to save electricity.

Pretty cool place to see a show. Not in the nicest of neighborhoods, but is easily accessible via public transportation. There's not a sign with the club's name. You can choose to watch a show from the floor or upstairs. Acoustics are pretty good too. Since I'm from LA where indoor smoking is generally banned, it was a bit annoying inhaling secondhand smoke.

Your basic Bally's here. This one seems to be frequented by a lot of people over 50. A lot of weight machines, but I wish there were more non-treadmill cardio machines since I seem to always be waiting for one of the elliptical machines. No spinning classes at this Bally's. And no towel service which would be nice. On weekends after the cleaning lady leaves around 5pm, there always seems to be a paper towel shortage in the women's locker room and very messy in the toilet and sink areas. Plenty of parking and conveniently next to a Target.

Good, quick service and affordable, I actually like Togos better than Subway. Their wheat bread has a lot more taste than Subway's version and sandwiches don't taste as generic as Subways. There's also some interesting different sandwiches of the day. I usually get the #16 which I believe is The Italian or the pastrami. A regular size (which fills me up fine) costs less than $5!

It's not listed on their menu, but it is shown prominently on their window facing the street. It includes eggs, toast and jelly, and home potatoes. And it's very satisfying, filling you up for cheap. I love their home potatoes! I've also had their french toast and pancakes which were all pretty good. I've had their omlettes a couple of times and they were always overcooked though.

This Starbucks is located inside a Longo Toyota which actually offers some perks. It's near Subway and there's plenty of seating. There's also free video games as part of the Longo Toyota lounge and a tv. It's your basic run-of-the mill Starbucks. It can get super-busy on the weekend when a lot of people are waiting for their cars to be serviced. One time, we must have waitde 20 minutes for our drinks! Also service isn't as meticulous as I'd like. I don't like whipped cream on my drinks and I usually try mention this 3 times to my cashier. However, many times I still get drinks with the whipped cream!
