Great personality restaurant
Friday, January 13, 2006
Back in my cabbie days I picked up Harry and his wife several times from this place and brought them home to their gold coast digs.
They were always pleasant, good tippers, etc.
If you have been living in a cave, the late Harry was an announcer for the Cubs who was also a celebrated Chicago personality. He was once dubbed the mayor of Rush St. back in the heyday of that street.
So he created this restaurant and bar that actually has good food and folks go their to bask in the glow of his big personality, and the strange phenomenon of being a Cub fan.
