Let me make one thing clear. Don't expect to open the store to this antique shop and end up in the magical world of Narnia with a talking Lion and a freaky Ice Queen cause it ain't gonna happen.
That said Narnia is a very quaint and very interesting little antique shop that can be hard to find so call ahead for directions. They sell some very nice antique pieces and the prices are okay.

Elementary, my dear Watson. It was Miss Scarlett in the library with the candlestick. Just kidding. Mysterious Bookshop is just what the name says. A book store that caters to nothing but mystery books. A great place to bone up on your Sherlock Holmes fiction books or read about the secrets of the Bermuda Triangle. Great place for mystery buffs who can't get enough.

Second the store is a great selection of 1950's memorabilita, quirky gift items and art and add some funky store decor and you have one very interesting shop.
A great place to find oddball gifts for your off the wall friends. High prices.

The Museum Of Sex is a raunchy, cheesy and often campy museum that shows exhibits of anything and everything related to sex. It mostly shows sex throught the ages and how it's shaped our thinking and culture. The admission price is a whooping seventeen dollars but if you look in AMNY, Metro or any tourist book you can usually find a five dollar off coupon. Lots of naked exhibits but nothing too seedy. Interesting place to visit.

The Museum of Television & Radio has over a thousand television and radio programs in the museum's library, all of which can be viewed at any time. Not as popular as many of the museums in New York but definitely as cool if not more so. They have everything from Orson Welles to I Love Lucy in their libraries which you can listen to one of their 100 boots. It's open most of the time except holidays and they often have exciting events happening.

For all animal lovers don't worry. Not a single animal, rodent or cow was killed to make moo shoes at any time. Moo Shoes is New Yorks first store specializing in non-leather shoes. They are totally animal free. Moo Shoes make high quality shoes and it shows in their pricing. Unfortunately they do not sell any Moo Shew pork anywhere in their store. Bummer.

Mercer Street Books & Records carries mostly out of stock and the hard to find books. No recent fiction books or anything by Deeprak Chopra. Most of the books they carry is the kind of stuff you would find in a college bookstore. Textbooks about photography and art history, language arts and stuff like that. Don't bother with the cd selection. It's rather skimpy in the selection department.
