Ah to be a kid again. If I knew then what I knew now and I had access to a credit card I would have been shopping! FAO Schwarz has everything. They have dolls. They have GI Joes. They have imported toys from Sweden and Bratz dolls that look like hookers to me but my niece loves them. They have a giant keyboard made famous by Tom Hanks in Big and that giant Ferris Wheel inside. Santa Claus eat your heart out.

They sell tons of chocolate, gift baskets, Kosher eateries, designer candy, nuts and dried fruits. The place is packed full of sweets. Great place for any candy lover or anyone packing a sweet tooth. The best part is since everything is sold in bulk the candy is cheap.

They also have a strong astrology section and a Woman's Studies Section that puts Barnes & Nobles to shame. Hope you like incense because East West has a serious case of incense odor. Very laid back atmosphere. Very casual staff.

You won't find any A list starlets cruising the aisles but you will find a bunch of wannabe thespians practicing lines from everything from Shakespeare to a Streetcar Named Desire. Excellent bookstore that's loaded with screenplays, regular plays, books on acting and anything to do with the acting world. Drama has been around for over eighty years and its still a favorite hot spot for the acting class. Located in the heart of the theater district the staff is friendly and the prices are good.

The aisles are very small and hard to walk around the layout of the store is reminiscient to the maze of the minotaur. Plus the fact they have a CompuUSA across the street does not show a sign of intelligence on the stores part. Not the best place to find electronics. You may be better off shopping across the street for what you're looking for unless the shop is having a sale.

On the upside you can go on one of their computers and check your email while you wait.

Condomania is a good store for a variety of individually sold condoms in all shapes, sizes and flavors. They are reasonably priced too. One of the best reasons to go in besides being able to say you were in Condom world is to watch the demonstrations the staff puts on for condom use. It's just one of the funniest things ever. It's also a gift shop to boot. I wouldn't give anything in here to anyone under twenty one but for the those of us that are legal aged knock yourself out.
