You would totally miss this store if it wasn't for the sign of an eye and hear hanging above (See & Hear. Get it!) Once you go down the stairs into the basement you step into a small store that sell nothing but zines. For those who are zine illiterate a zine is a handmade, cut and paste papers of pictures and articles that can range from Neo buddhism to What my cat fluffy ate today. It's pretty much up to the author what they want to write about. Some pretty good reads. It's like reading a blog or someones journal. See Hear is also the only store in NYC devoted to selling nothing but zines so if you are looking for alternative reading you have to See Hear.
