I used BuyLightFixtures.com for my office. They sell those really long flourescent bulbs that no one looks good under. The guy who sold them to me was really nice. One of them was defective so he replaced it right away with no hassle. I could tell it's a small company because the guy John from the website was the one I spoke to on the phone. I would recommend using this company if you need lights for your office.

Like flowers? Jewelry? Try combining the two. That's what jewelry designer Susanna Doodeman did with. She wanted to make an original present for a friends wedding and ended up creating this whole line of organic looking, flower necklaces and chokers that look like real flowers are sprouting from the chains. She uses these delicate wires, crystals beads and realistic flowers and makes these gorgeous looking wearable works of art.

Kiku Fused Glass Jewelry are these weird pieces of melted glass that are baked in a kiln and then designed with these collage type pictures. It's all very funky and upbeat and I'm pretty sure you won't find pieces like these at your local Macy's. I especially love the 70's type disco era hoop earrings and the pendants with the fun pictures on them. Prices aren't too inexpensive. Good bargains.

In my quest for life, liberty and the pursuit of extra cash I came across www.greenbook.org. I wanted to find more focus group companies I could sign up with and I wanted to find some for a friend who lives in Mass. A couple of keywords in Google and I found greenbook a website that lists a bunch of focus group companies you can call or sign up with online in your state.

Amy Peter's is this awesome jewelry designer who makes these name tags, identity bracelets and other inscribed jewelry out of sterling silver with uplifiting and original messages using a Harvard Metal Stamper she scored off Ebay years ago. You can buy original pieces off the website of you can design your own using the Custom Tool feature. If you live in California you can visit her store. Info on the website. Some of the pieces seem more like something you would get a young girl or teenager but it's still very lovely and for the average price of $70 you know you're getting quality.

When I say cute jewelry I'm not kidding. Everything you see on the NiceLena's website looks like something you would get for your 8 year old niece. They have these pastel plaid rings that are as huge as a frisbee and pins look like something a child would make in arts and crafts. The good news is that everything is mad cheap.
P.S. I have no idea why it's called Nice Lena.
