I had been going to Creative Nails for my acrylic nails and pedicures for the past 6 years, and had been very happy with service in the past. Then in late spring of 2005 the salon changed hands and my former nail tech (previous owner) was no longer there. The new owner had been at the salon for awhile and knew I was a long-time customer, and that I always had to be a walk-in customer since I own my own retail establishment and can't make appointments in advance. Their sign says walk-ins welcome. So the night before my 50th birthday I showed up 30 minutes before their closing time and asked for a pedicure. They said no, sorry, they wouldn't be done with their current customers before closing time. The previous owner had always stayed until all customers were served as long as they arrived before closing, and I was even early. I explained I had a big birthday coming up the next day and really needed my nails done for the party. They still said no, so I walked out, went to another salon down the street that welcomed me and served me, and I've never gone back. With nail salons being "a dime a dozen" you would think they'd want their service to stand out above the rest, but apparently this new owner doesn't hold that view.

I have been going to this nail salon since my former nail salon changed hands and couldn't provide good customer service any more. The nail tech I've been seeing now for the past 6 months, a young man named Timmy, is great to work with. He does his job very well, and I've had fewer problems with nails coming off, etc. with him than any one in the past. In addition to that he is very friendly, speaks English very well, and yesterday I found out how caring he is. I just had hip replacement surgery and this was my first visit for a fill to my nails since having the surgery 5.5 weeks ago. Timmy was so glad to see me and said he had been worrying about me when I hadn't been in. He treated me like royalty while I was there, helping me into my chair, and not even allowing me to get up to go wash my own hands after he was done with applying the product - he hand washed each one of my nails for me right at his station. He has earned my loyalty forever now, even if he hadn't in the past - which of course he already had. I highly recommend Timmy!

We were so sad on our last visit to Cucina Cucina. We had been eating at this restaurant's Issaquah location ever since it opened many years ago, and we were very disappointed in the food on our last visit. First of all the restaurant smelled like rotten fish - they claimed to be having a problem with the ventilation system - and it was so bad it seemed like they should have closed the restaurant rather than have people subjected to the stench. Since we initially thought maybe the smell was something that would go away we did order dinner and appetizers. The kitchen was very slow, and unfortunately since changing hands the quality of the food is greatly diminished. The calamari appetizer used to be our favorite, but it's not the same any more, and they don't have the same dipping sauces. They didn't have our favorite cocktails any more either. It's a shame when a company comes in and buys a successful establishment and then proceeds to ruin it in short order. We will never be going back again.

I have been both using and referring others to this company for the past 13 years, including as a professional wedding consultant. This business, owned by two terrific gentlemen, provides delicious food, excellent quality, and service with a smile. You can either use their services at their events facility, The Hall at Fauntleroy in West Seattle, or hire them for off-site catering anywhere in the Puget Sound area. They love to be creative, will work with themes, and have many years of experience under their collective belts. They're terrific, and you can't go wrong if you want a worry-free wedding or event.

Just experienced purchasing some custom compression stockings from this business after developing a blood clot in my leg. The owner of this company really knows her stuff, and was excellent at helping me select the correct product, obtaining measurements, and making sure my insurance would cover what we were ordering. Very good experience. I was able to make my purchase with confidence, and she also provided training for myself and my husband about how to put on the stockings, how to launder them, etc.. This may sound silly if you haven't had to purchase something like this before, but these are not your regular socks, and her advice was very helpful.

If you like authentic bbq Bill's Bodacious is the place for you. Besides the food being great (the catfish dinner and bbq white chicken dinner are my two favorites), the owners, Bill and Carol, are two of the nicest most genuine people around. They do off-site catering too, so if you need food for an upcoming event give them a call. There are also other touches like homemade desserts, GREAT potato salad. It's always service with a smile and they make you feel welcome, calling you by name and truly caring what's going on in your life and how you're doing. It feels so good to support such nice people, and the quality of the food is a bonus! They're open every day but Monday.

I had to find a new physician earlier this year after my husband's company changed insurance providers, and I was very upset about losing my previous dr. But upon the recommendation of another medical professional I set up an appt. to see Dr. Anne Tuttle at the Virginia Mason Bellevue clinic. I have been to see Dr. Tuttle on multiple occasions this year for various reasons, and every visit has been very pleasant. The thing that has amazed me is when she's in the examining room with me she is very pleasant and patient, truly listening and spending as much time as I need - you never feel like she's anxious to bolt out the door to get on to her next appointment. I have found her to be very thorough and caring. If you're needing a doctor I can't recommend her enough! She always remembers you and your circumstances from one appointment to the next and you don't feel like "just a number" with her.

If you're looking for a beautiful designer gown and not limited on your budget this is the place to go. You will want an appointment so you are given undivided attention, as the staff is very focused on providing top-notch service and can do it best if you let them know in advance you're coming. They are THE BEST for higher end designer gowns. There are other salons who carry some of the same lines but can't hold a candle to the service you will receive here. They stand behind what they sell, and won't cause you grief or buyer's remorse after the sale.

I Do Bridal is a store I routinely refer brides to when they want a reasonably priced dress, great selection and friendly service. Make sure to make an appointment, so you're assured a dressing room since the store isn't huge, square-footage wise, but the knowledge of the owner and her staff is excellent and you're guaranteed to be treated well.

They have an excellent selection of cars available for your special event, including both vintage cars and traditional limosines, and will also make arrangements for shuttle buses or whatever you're needing. They are dependable, friendly, and flexible, and the only company I routinely recommend for any limo service.
