Open skate is a fun family activity. You can rent skates or bring your own. They offer bars to help new skaters that work kind of like a walker. They are actually shaped like a hockey goal, and they slide along the ice while the child holds on and skates. The price was reasonable, and my family had a lot of fun. Consider a skating birthday party for a change of pace. They are fun, but a bit pricey. However, it is a unique experience.
