When I first came to this place I thought that it was a pretty good place to find cheap Asian foods, especially Chinese grocery items and southeast Asian foods. Actually that's basically true, but I'm a lot less impressed after taking a closer look at the fruits and vegetables… the produce here is really cheap, but so much of it is such low quality – some was even moldy, and they have so much of something on the outsides of the fruits that my hands felt sticky and dirty after I touched them.

Takohachi is a Japanese restaurant that tastes like real Japanese family-style cooking. There aren't very many restaurants in the area that are like that. Some of their cooking even reminds me of things my mom cooks. Also the food is reasonably priced, so it's a good place to come and try real Japanese cooking.

It's also nice that they have always been so prompt so send me any information that I asked for, when I have asked them questions or ordered tickets through them.

They have such a big selection here, plus reasonable prices. There are a lot of ready-to-plant things you can buy here, too.

This gardening center isn't quite as good as Sky Nursery, my favorite, but it's not as far of a drive for me, and they have good things here too. They're just not as big, so they don't have quite as much variety. They do have quite a few smaller gift plants, though, so I come here a lot for those kinds of things.

This is a really great Thai restaurant! They have very reasonable prices, and I really like the atmosphere inside. I especially recommend the trout salad, forest curry and garlic chicken. It’s nice that you can get brown rice here too, if you want. If you're in the West Seattle area and are trying to find a good place to eat, this is a good place to try out.

Hosoonyi is the best Korean restaurant in the area that I am aware of. Most Asian people tend to love it. I especially like their Korean-style seafood pancakes. There is a mix of regular tables, and low tables that you can sit on the floor and eat at. It can get busy and crowded at times, though.
