They usually don't have too much in the store because of the size, but it's still interesting because in addition to the regular clothes and things they also have some Native American crafts in one section. They also have a little section at the back with things that cost $1.

I haven't had Ethiopian food at many restaurants, but Assimba definitely was not my favorite. In fact I was pretty disappointed with it when I came here. The sponge bread tasted really sour to me, and I wasn't really very impressed with the other things they served. I think there are better Ethiopian restaurants in the area.

I usually go to A Piece of Cake when I want to get Asian-style cake in the International District, but the Yummy House Bakery is a pretty good place to try too. They have good cakes and other baked things like red bean buns. I think they just don't have quite as good a selection of cakes as A Piece of Cake which is a couple blocks away.

I like the tea they have, but sometimes when I come here the person working there isn't familiar with all the kinds of tea they sell so I have a hard time getting the type I'm looking for. I saw this place in Wallingford and thought it looked interesting – for a long time I wanted to try it out, and when I finally did I was very pleasantly surprised! It's very different food than I usually eat, and very good. If you want to try something new I recommend Kabul. Sometimes they have live music too.

I don't shop at Marketime Foods very often because it's not so close to where I live, but I like to go there every once in a while, especially for the organic whole wheat flour that they sell in bulk. It's the cheapest place I know for that kind of flour. It's also nice that they have a nice section with small gifts like Japanese dishes.
