Forbidden Planet has it all. This place has a great selection for all your comic book needs and or you r toy needs. This place has a huge inventory of back issues as well as all the recent stuff. They have been around forever and not much has changed about them. The selection is very thorough and if you don't see what you want I'm sure they can point you in the right direction on how to get it, if they don't get it for you. Nice staff, very knowledgeable. recommend Forbidden Planet to any one looking for a comic book store with it all.

Paragon Sports has it all. They have everything you are looking for in top of the line sports equipment for any sport you are looking for or are interested in. The staff here is very knowledgeable about the section they are assigned to and have most of the answers you will have about the equipment you are looking for. The down side is that you will be paying top dollar for the top of the line equipment as well. If you are looking for the top of the line equipment you are in the right place. I f you want a bargain, keep hunting somewhere else.

The New York Comedy Club has been around forever. This place is still the best place for a good comedy routine, some alcohol and if you're in the front row you are going to get it from the comedian. The cover charge is about average for a New York comedy club, and the alcohol is a little pricey. Especially when you take into account the 2 drink minimum. This place is where you go for a good time and a few drinks. If you are working on a budget or trying to be PC or even thrifty you may want to go somewhere else. This is New York comedy at it's best.

I have not been here in years, but I remember going to this place back when I went to school here. The store is just blocks away from Baruch College and they had a great selection back then. The employees there really put there heart into their work and were very knowledgeable about the comic universes. They also had a frequent purchase program there that was easy to achieve bonus bucks there. If the ownership is still the same this was a great place to go to between classes or just to get away from the office

Welcome to Chelsea Piers! This place has everything. Chelsea Piers has done an extraordinary job with these piers. The view is outstanding and the sporting complex is unbelievable. They have batting cages and driving range right here on premise. The old Sky Rink (Ice Skating Rink) that was high in the sky is now here at Chelsea Piers, adding to the attractiveness and full service sporting complex. The view here is spectacular. So if you are visiting the City or even a resident you have to come here to appreciate it.

The place is appointment only and the clientèle is exactly what you would expect from a place like this. Although it is in our budget, I'm not into this type of atmosphere. Great Decor and place for those who require such a place.

The Salkin Jewel Case has been around for 2 generations and has their own GIA gemologists. I bought my wifes engagement band here and the piece was a hit. David Salkin was able to explain it all to me and gave an education on my ring. They are also able to appraise it there on the spot since they are qualified GIA Gemologists. This is a great family owned and operated business and provides a great service to the community. I highly recommend this place to any one.

Unisex Hair Palace is a nice place to go to for a decent cut at a fair price. The place is usually very packed, especially on a weekend and if you don't have an appointment it could be a while for walk ins. I am one of those walk ins usually because I cannot set time aside for a cut, but the service is good and the price is right. The only problem with a walk in is that you are not likely to get the same stylist twice which can be a problem for a consistent style time after time.
