My initial reason for going to Jake and Earl's was that it was one of the only restaurants on Moody Street that would take a reservation for a group of 19 people. When we arrived our tables were clearly marked and ready and we were greeted by a very friendly hostess. They have an extensive list of beers on tap and in bottles compared with other BBQ places. And their specialty drinks have cute names like "Poor Man's Martini," (Pabst in a paper bag) and "Trailer Park Martini" (vodka and whatever they have in the kitchen). The food was great and nobody left hungry. I had the pulled chicken platter and the chicken was cooked perfectly with the BBQ sauce on the side. There were a couple of mistakes with people's orders but they were remedied quickly and without argument.
I recommend the Fried Twinkies with blueberry sauce for dessert. They were excellent! We were never rushed to leave and were encouraged to stay as long as we liked. They even let us bring a birthday cake with us. If you're looking for a fun place to eat, defintely check out Jake and Earl's.
Not recommended for vegetarians or picky eaters. The menu consists of meat, meat, cornbread, and more meat. :)

I seem to be in a constant state of hairstylist flux, and Dellaria has always been my "backup" salon. Well, I think it will be my permanent salon from now on. Carolyn gave me a great cut considering I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted. I had to wait about 10 minutes and we chatted after she washed my hair but I couldn't have asked for a better result.
She answered all of my questions so that I could replicate the look at home, yet she wasn't overly chatty. It's right in the Natick Mall so it is a very convenient salon to visit. All this for less than $30, what more could I ask for?
They also seem to be very popular for coloring, but I have never used this service.
