They are into expeditive mode. The prices are really cheap though! $14 for a haircut, $2.5 for shampoo. You can easily get a $2 off coupon if you subscribe to their mailing list.

Travel cuts is in the heart of Westwood village nearby UCLA. It offers some discounts for students. However, there is often a long line to wait to talk to an agent or he is on the phone... The prices are correct but doesn't beat some searching over the internet. Plus I got the attitude "what you want to book for Xmas, forget about it...". i just find Internet a lot easier. Plus parking over there is either going to take forever or you could pay $10 for a private parking.

This place really is THE best cookie place that I know. The turnover is so quick that the cookies are fresh everyday. They have all the flavor that you might want ranging from chocolate chip to cinamon sugar. Plus their prices is really really sweet!! 3 cookies for $1. Who can beat that?? They also have ice cream sandwiches with Dreyers' ice cream. Their price are unbeatable. You can judge by the line outside at all hours of the day.

I wouldn't advise anyone to stay in this hostel. It definitely doesn't have the good "backpacking" youth vibe. It feels pretty dangerous at night and my friends didn't feel very safe. It didn't feel very clean either. In fact, we learnt that some girls were exchanging cleaning services for free rooms. So well, you can tell it's not done by professionals and the right equipments.

The peninsula in Beverly Hills seems to be a haven of peace in the upbeat Los Angeles. My parents stayed there during their last visit, and they loved it. The room was really elegant and had an incredible view of Los Angeles. It even had a fireplace!! I tried the spa with my mom and it was really top notch service. The price is well worth it! The room service is really delicious and it's great after a long hard day of shopping.

The location of this hotel cannot get any more glamourous, just a few steps from Rodeo Drive! The rooms were huge and I loved the bathroom! The decoration and furniture were chosen with taste. The staff was great. The pool is really to die for! All in all a perfect experience!

The place feels relaxing and is very clean. Staff is nice too! I saw they have chocolate body scrub! That sounds fun. You can take your man there too!

Fred Segal is THE store in Los Angeles. Well known by famous celebrities, this store is so cool! It has really trendy stuff from Chloe to Diesel and Couture. It's really fun because they also have like mini eateries where you can get some sandwiches to take a break! I typically get pretty hungry while shopping. I saw some fantasticly cute little clothes for babies. I'm definitely going to get something for my friend's baby.

I went to PC Club because it was on my way home. I was looking for a computer. I know NOTHING about it. And well, PC Club has probably good prices but it's hard to compare when you don't know anything about it. Indeed, their shelves are stuffed with tons of computer hardware but no prices tags attached. THe staff is nice but they talk very technically so it's hard for me to follow. BAsically, this store is great if you're a pro!

I consulted this lawyer and let me tell you that for the price I paid, I expected perfect service. The main issue I have with him is his inaccuracy in completing the form for instance. Many were mispelled, and out of date. It turned out that so far my case is going ok but knowing that my case wasn't perfectly and neatly prepared (after I had to double check things on the Internet myself) caused me a lot of additional stress. He is just very messy, and time wasting. I'd rather not go see him again!
