Our daughter is just now wrapping up her 1st year at SGS and we are astounded by both her personal and academic growth as well as the staff's ability to lead, inspire, and steer these girls in an exciting and empowering way on a daily basis.
I can say that as someone who has spent a great deal of time studying and working within the world of adolescence that where there are preteen kids (boys or girls) there will be conflict. The difference is, SGS focuses a tremendous amount of time and programming on conflict resolution and accountability. In addition, the SGS staff is provided with ongoing workshops and training in the area. As a parent I greatly appreciate their commitment to continuing education and professional development, this is the very reason I rated the school with 4 not 5 stars. SGS recognizes that there is always room for improvement. THIS is the tone of the school that I have experienced. Empower the students and the staff to create an environment that fosters positive change.
