Very interesting experience overall. The only bad thing about the meal is the lady next to us and my dish was only good. Flat bread pizzas were excellent. The salads were also excellent. I got chicken parmasean, which was good. My fiancee tried the Chicken Canneloni, which was excellent. The atmosphere in the Olive Street Bistro is fantastic. It's exactly how you imagine a Bistro. Also, the service was very good and it is not too hard to pick up a reservation. The waiter was extremely helpful in leading us to the high points of the menu. He was also showed alot of enthusiasm and pride in the food he was serving.

Copeland's has always been one of my favorite places to dine. Besides their cajun dishes, they also have other really good items. Without a doubt, they have their steaks are the best in the under $25 price range for the area. They have great baked potatoes, which is a nice side to go with your steak. The bread pudding is also a very nice desert. One thing I have to say is that I have gotten rotten chicken in one of my dishes before. So, I doubt I will ever anything else besides the steak. Service is normally really good once you get past the hostess. The location really needs some renovating, however. And this may not happen since several copeland's were lost from Katrina.

Cambria's is one of the few places in Shreveport that I visit on a regular occasion. The food is normally good. Especially for the price at lunch. And I agree with the previous poster that their burgers are very good as well. As far as service goes, I would say that it is average. Not bad, but some things could be better almost every time I eat here. The price range really varies as well as you can get many lunch dishes for under $10 or you can also pay a little extra for a nice, special outing.

In most places I really like chili's...for about the first two years the restaurant is open. There is just something about Chili's take a dive for the worst after being opened up a few years. This one is no exception. Often at this location, I've received uncooked chicken, dirty glasses, dirty silverware, poor service, and a few more bad experiences I could discuss. More recently, I had to meet a friend here and it seems to have improved in some ways. However, I would still stick to getting to go food if you really must have some eggrolls or a burger.

There are definitely things about this rental location that could use some work. Some of the organization and many older movies cannot be found. However, the MVP deal that Hollywood has is by far the best offer in my opinion. 9.99 to start and 15 bucks after for unlimited 3 at a time movies. Also, until recently, I was always able to find new releases the week they came out. This does seem to have changed a little recently, but you normally do have a shot of finding a new release whereas at blockbuster, it just is not going to happen.

Not to say the food is completely horrible. I've been at McAllister's before and enjoyed their baked potatoes and a few sandwiches. I've had two very bad experiences in the restaurant. One involved finding something and my food and never seeing a a manager, which is simply pathetic. Apparently he was on his break and did not want to quit his own meal. Also, I've had an employee be very rude when bringing me my food for absolutely no reason. She just had a rude personality. The manager also did not seem to be concerned about this either. A couple of calls to corporate later and maybe the problem got solved. However, I still have not been back.

Some things about this location is decent. Most of the time the employees are fairly nice. The store layout leaves something to be desired. Some of the product placements just do not make any sense. Also, they are out of items fairly often. So, if they have a display for an item you want, do not get very exicted until you see the item packaged up on the checkout counter. Beware of maxassurance as they will shove it down your throat 10 times by the time you've left.

Sci Port should be a good place for kids. It is a decent outing. Sometimes the IMAX shows some decent shows. Sometimes, horrible shows are shown instead for up to 10 bucks a pop. As far as the actual science area of sci port goes, don't expect too much. It's nice, but judging from the outside it appears as though it is Disney World, but what you find is the county fair. From a visitor's perspective, it appears to be run sloppy and some of the employees do not seem like the best choice to be teaching other science. Nevertheless, it is a decent outing.

This Barnes and Noble really is not bad. I've personally hit it up several times for some studying. The employees and customers do not seem to give very much gripe about it. The biggest problem that I have experienced with this particular store is them not regularly carrying books that I need for studying. Therefore, I often have to go the online route. Also, the philosophy section, which I was apparently responsible for supporting for years, has diminished over the past few years to almost nothing.

Outback is a place of appetizers: Cheese fries and Blooming Onion. Salads are normally fairly good as well as the bread when it's warm. For entrees, steaks are not even average to me. Many people I know like them. Personally, the only entrees I enjoy are the ribs, grilled chicken, and alice springs chicken. Desert choice should be Chocolate Thunder.
Overall, this Outback is nice. Service is often better in Bossier. The actual seating seems newer and nicer and the restaurant is normally fairly clean. Wait times can be long, so call ahead. It's not worth a 2 hour wait. Have a nice meal!
