Good food, be careful of movie night!

I've had many a good brunch breakfast at Julia's on Broadway. Slightly upscale atmosphere, with a bar side and main dining room furnished with comfortable antinques. Your standard breakfast fare done up right.
But last Monday I went in for dinner after 8pm, and they had the movie "9 to 5" showing on a big screen in the main room. We were seated in the bar and could barely talk due to the blaring volume of the movie. The tables next to us were complaining to the servers about the volume - we did too. It was annoying to the point of laughable.
The Jumbalaya and grilled aparagus salad we ordered were marvelous though, almost making up for the excruciatingly loud movie. The jumbalaya was spicy with a bit too much rice, but good.
We passed on dessert in order to give our ears a rest.
