Sorry, this food just sucks. It wasn't any good when we were sixteen, and it's just as bad now. Nostalgia is all very well and good, but it doesn't improve the food.

Agreed--hands-down best thai. Get a seat at the counter and watch one chef with seven burners going full tilt. Great pyrotechnics.

Hadn't tried it in 20 years, thought it might have changed. It hasn't. Nice place, nice people, burgers are fine but little more. Chili is terrible. Ground beef, some tomato, some chili powder...

Agree with all the earlier posts. Carl talks straight to you, and actually listens when you describe what's going on. (Unlike the dealer service manager with the bored nods who listens impatiently...

(Unlike the dealer service manager with the bored nods who listens impatiently then writes down two words on the service order.) You won't tell your friends that Carl is cheap--car repair still hurts--but you will tell your friends about him. He really watches your costs for both parts and labor, and is totally on the up-and-up. Also a really nice guy, and his dog (Sprocket) is a sweet thing.
