This is one of the typical Chinatown shops, with lots of fun little trinkets and souvenirs, but in addition, they also have tons of great martial arts equipment. I enjoy shopping here because the staff is very friendly and helpful when choosing gifts for people. I like coming in here to look around because it's a fun and friendly environment. Parking is difficult, but it is right near the red line, so it's easy to get to.

I didn't wait very long, and the stylist knew exactly what I wanted. They also feature electrolysis, which I may look into next time since the service was so good.

I had to have a retainer, and he tried to lighten the experience for me by telling jokes. I was never afraid to go to the dentist as a child, and I believe he is the reason why.

Pipes and Stuff has the biggest selection of rolling papers I have ever seen in a store. They also have a great selection of pipes, water pipes, and novelty pipes. The prices aren't too bad, and the staff is usually very helpful. They also sell cigarettes and rolling tobacco. I just enjoy going here and looking around at all the neat stuff. Parking is awful, so take public transportation.

Secrets has a great selection of pipes, water pipes, and hookahs. The staff is very friendly, and the environment is relaxed. I have bought almost all of my smoking accessories there. The prices are great... I got a great deal! Downside is definately lack of parking, but it's fairly close to public transportation, so you can get there pretty easily.

Going to a thrift store and hunting for cool clothes is more fun, and a lot cheaper. If you've got the cash, ragstock is worth checking out. Otherwise, go to a thrift store.

They've got some cool stuff at Beatnix. Very funky vintage clothes, jewelry, wigs, costumes. This place is the halloween headquarters. The staff is well-versed in customer service, and always very kind and curteous. The prices are good, and you can find some great deals there.
Driving here is a bad idea, though, as street parking is extremely limited.
