I go to Sushi Sake everytime I need to get a sushi fix. I absolutely love their California rolls. Their chicken terriyaki is great too. I have been there for their lunch specials a few times and while the food was ok, it was nothing special. Their miso soup is also way too salty for my tasts, but I love their rolls.

Marble Slab Creamery has pretty good ice cream and absolutely tons of items to mix into it. They mix them in right in front of you and make quite a show of it. All of this is good, but they are somewhat expensive for ice cream. They have lots of locations here in town and are really convienient. I also like that they are open pretty late, at least the one close to UT is. Generally, a good place to get a sweet snack.

Rudy's has pretty good barbeque, but the primary reason I go to Rudy's is for the breakfast tacos. The restaurant is pretty self serve for picking your sides, drinks, and desserts and then your order the meat or hot sides. The brisket is good, juicy and tender. Their roast chickens are great as well. Rudy's is one of the better BBQ restaurants in Austin.

I absolutely love going to Amy's Ice Cream. They have by far the best ice cream in Austin. They have tons of different flavors and toppings. Their stores all have really laid back people working there whoc just make the whole experience fun. I also love going there around valentine's day because they have chocolate dipped strawberries then which are phenomenal. I love Amy's Ice Cream.

Austin Park & Pizza is a nice place to go with the kids. It is definitely a small amusement park here in town. The go karts are fun, as are the other outside activities. The pizza isn't that great. This is a nice place for kids, but it works well for adults too. The only downside is that the tickets are somewhat expensive and it's hard to buy things a la carte.

I have always been a big tea drinker. Celestial Seasonings is one of the better brands out there, definitely when it comes to the number of choices you have. I particularly love their chamomile tea as well as their peppermint tea. The teas are never too strong and the flavors are always consistent. I would highly recommend.

They have special events here often for sporting events and offer lots of food and drink specials during those. Player's is a great place to watch UT games.

Zilker park is by far the best park in Austin. There is always tons of events going on, especially on weekends. Their botanical gardens are phenomenal. I also like their plant sales which they hold several times per year. This park is a great place to go for a picnic, or to take the dogs. Truly the best park in Austin.

The Austin Ice Bats hockey team is a nice way to spend an evening out. You will never get bored watching the game and everything else going on out there. The games are somewhat out there (at the Expo Center) but it's worth the drive if only to experience it once. The tickets are cheap and it's a good way to have a group night out.
