The Fishmonger on Huron Avenue in Huron Village is great for fresh, high quality fish.
Fishmonger is located next to Formaggio Kitchen and Hallie's Garden on Huron Avenue in Cambridge. Get there by taking the Huron Avenue bus (72?) from Harvard Square.
My husband and I make our own smoked salmon, and we always buy our fish there. (It's fresh and well-prepped -- no pin bones.)
They often have several prepared fish dishes on hand as well -- crab cakes, chowders, fish pates, etc.
