By "old world" I mean you pull in and the guys might be having lunch of fresh bread, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes and cigarettes on a TV tray in the middle of the garage. But this team of eastern Europeans know their Volvos - and love them like family. I bought my '89 Volvo here for $5000 four years ago (with over 160,000 miles on it) and I haven't had one problem! It's the best purchase I think I've ever made in my life. I return for cheap oil changes and they usually berate me for not keeping it clean enough. They've fixed small things here and there for free. Yuri is the main salesperson and Alex does the repair work. Anytime I need an oil change, they will drive me home and pick me up again (as is the way in many parts of Europe, this is not policy but just courtesy extended to good customers). I love my car and thank them for selling me something honest and dependable. Yuri says I can drive this car for another 10 years - and I believe him!
