Fun place, but no bathrooms...

Rubys is great. Food is good, but overpriced. But I love the 50s diner theme and here in Balboa, its at the end of the pier. You can even sit on top of the restaurant, which is great. The service was friendly. Nice experience. What WASNT nice, was that they have NO restroom. And when you have a little one who is potty training and has to go potty...that doesnt work out too well. After begging the manager to let her run the little one into the restroom that is for employees only, my cousin had to run her little girl all the way to the start of the pier. That is not a quick run. I dont think I will sit down and eat here again. They do offer a pickup window. I would take that option next time.
