This is one of my favorite, nicer places to eat. The Orange County Mining Co is located up on a hill, upon one of the old silver mining sites of Silverado Canyon. The entire place is made to look like an old mine and the waiters are even dressed as old miners. The food they serve is delicious...steaks, seafood, burgers, etc are what fill the menu. Along with your meal, you get to take a trip to their fabulous salad bar. This place has a beautiful view over parts of Orange County, so if you go when its dark, its so nice! They also host wedding receptions...I have been to a reception here and it was fun and yummy! Although the theme seems on the casual side, I would dress on the nicer side.
