The perfect lunch or snack on a humid summer day! Matt aka "The Juice Man" will use the fruits, protein powders, and yogurts of your choice to create one of the best smoothies one can enjoy. If you're not feeling creative, choose from one of the many delicious options on the smoothie menu. Now that the Juice Box is in its largest and most recent location, you can also snack on a fresh salad or sandwich (your choice of toppings, of course). Though the food and drink is great year-round, nothing beats a cold smoothie in the heat of summer. Enjoy!

I visited the Grille & Bar with some coworkers and loved everything about it. The location is not difficult to find and it is situated beside a large parking lot (though sometimes crowded). The inside seating area has a very relaxed and casual atmosphere and there is an outdoor patio where one can enjoy dinner or drinks on a warm summer evening. The food is delicious as well! My favorite are the crabcakes. Service can be a little slow but never to the point of discomfort.

I took a pair of dressy sandals to GQ Show Repair because I had lost the rubber heel on one shoe. The heels on both shoes were replaced, which took about five to seven days (longer than I expected). I also found the price to be very high based on the actual work done. After picking up my shoes, I asked around and found that others thought the price was high as well. I may return for something more intensive but for a basic heel repair I'll save the money and go elsewhere.

I stumbled into this Trade Secret after receiving a horrible haircut from another salon. The store is tiny and usually empty during weekday mornings, which is fine by me. I received very natural highlights that I have had compliments on over and over again and I was given a style and cut that I absolutely love. I highly recommend Angela - she is the stylist I return to again and again!

Cartel continues to grow and update itself in the same manner it does its patrons! The salon itself is somewhat small but not at all cramped. The staff are tried and true, and you will find there is a stylist for everyone. They are up to date on the latest trends and technologies yet still maintain their small town comfort. Prices are on the high side but still far lower than those you will find in Manhattan. You may not be asked to slip into a fancy robe or receive a glass of champagne while you wait, but you will walk out with one of the best haircuts you've ever received. Try them!

They are willing to help you with your purchase from start to finish, and sometimes thereafter. They were kind enough to engrave a frame for me, despite my not having purchased it at their store (I needed a specific brand name as a gift). A great find in a competitive business!

It is great as a quick stop to pick up a bottle or two as a gift but if you are looking for something specific, you may want to look elsewhere. Staff is ok but not as helpful as other stores I've visited. On the plus side, they often offer in-store tastings and you can also sign up for a membership card which entitles you to discounts the more frequently you purchase.

The staff knows their literature and are always happy to help find or order a specific title. Despite being independently owned, Book Revue welcomes droves of famous and local authors who come to sign their books. One of the best book stores I have ever visited!

Hamden Centre Apartments are in a great location with abundant off-street parking and in close proximity to dining, shopping and other services. Management is friendly though not particularly prominent unless you have reason to be in the main office. The maintenance staff is prompt and thorough, quick to respond and kind enough to deliver packages should you not be home when they arrive. The apartments themselves are large and often contain new carpets and countertops but some more permanent fixtures need updating (bathroom tiles, etc). Overall a great property with competitive prices.
