This is one of the most overrated places I've been to in awhile. Though it does boast an extensive menu and there is parking (which we were thankful for), the food was, at best, mediocre. The beef ravioli tasted like beans for some reason while their pesto sauce tasted nothing like pesto. The prices did add up to be really expensive. The cheapest thing on their lunch menu was probably $8 for a soup and salad. Their bread was good but hard as a brick. Even though this place boasts of "authentic Italian food," i would much rather go to the Olive Garden.

Never really had an OMG experience with CPK. The few times I was there, something bad always happened. Once, the food was terrible and stale. The second time, they took about half an hour to come out with it. And the 3rd, I've never had worse iced tea in my life.
The concept seems really cool- pizza with different flavored toppings. BUt i'd pass and go for big bowl next door.

Pompei is one of those places you don't know how great it is until you're taking the first bite of the daily pasta or calzone.
The daily pasta is the best. For $6.95 or less, its usually someehting like seafood pasta with mussles or linguini in clam sauce. It is absolutely delicious. Best of all, Pompei delivers super fast and doesn't charge you an exorbitant amount for it.

They do have a lot of selection at Aji Ichiban that you can taste. (Makes a good snack after shopping). For those of you that love dried squid, its like squid heaven. however, I don't recommend you buy anything since the same items can be found at local grocery stores in the area and in the square, prepackaged and much cheaper if you just look around.
There are some things that you can't find elsewhere, liek the fried crabs so youd just have to suck it up and pay the $10 or so.

We waited 45 minutes to get a table at Uno's only to be tragically disappointed. The waiter was consistently not there and our food was terrible. Their selection was paltry at best. They only had two kinds of pasta, with only marinara sauce (The kind of sauce I expect to come out of a can). I can make better food at home without waiting 45 minutes.
Though I must admit, the waiting area was very nice and cozy.

The sizes at H&M are ridiculous. The shirts look nice on the outside but fit funny. The tank tops are made way too small but the sweaters are made way too big. It is also really hard to get the same item in your "size"...and their sizes are in factors of 4. So like 4, 8, 12...If you don't find a 4, chances are, you won't fit an 8. Their clothes are also pretty expensive- especially jeans and sweaters. Forever 21 is so much better. Its a lot cheaper, has more selection and their shirts fit surprisingly well. Its also a few blocks from H&M in the Nordstroms mall. Try that instead.

Roditys is excellent in terms of trying new food and getting the most of the experience. They have a wide selection of appetizers and entrees to choose from, including Greek caviar paste and pastries. I personally had the rack of lamb which was really delicious. The decor is very nice and the outside looks expensive. But it is relatively affordable. The service is excellent and this place is definitely worth checking out!

This place is so-so. Personally, I think they charge a lot to rent the DVDs in the first place- I think it was something like 4.50 last time I went. I mean, if you look at Best Buy this week, the SAME DVDs are on sale for 3.99 so you might as well buy it. Killer late fees as well. If you're bad at returning movies, you might as well just buy it from the store. Also, during the summer and on Fridays, a lot of the new movies are all rented out (unlike Blockbuster).
The only redeeming factors are the selection. They have so many movies, including Foreign Films (think Foreign: like China and Croatia). A lot of the time, you can also catch a really good deal- like 3 movies for $10 and a bag of chips, which is decent. Parking is always available and the people are nice. You do get a free movie (and the person who recommended you gets one too) just for signing up so might as well give it a shot! (You can always say I recommended you..;))

Pompei has some really good food for those that love Italian. The restaurant is beautiful and the pizza is generally the norm. I especially love the pasta however, and their pasta of the day is usually a really good deal. Sometimes they have a Linguini pasta with clam sauce as the Pasta of the Day and that in itself is heaven in a bowl.
My only qualm with Pompei is the service. On one particular occasion, my friends arrived rather late in the evening and ordered an Italian beef with fries. Instead of telling us they did not have any more fries, they gave them a bowl of cold pasta instead (which tasted terrible). They refused to give them another alternative nor a refund for the fries that never arrived. Minor issue but they never forgot that.
They also deliver really fast, especially in the tri-taylor vicinity. Of course, if you live around the area, you can walk there...but you'll be thankful in the middle of February.
