Luxury Hotel

The JW Marriott is one of the higher end hotels in downtown Miami. It is quite luxurious and the amenities are terrific. The rooms are big and spacious and the bathrooms are extremely clean. The staff at the front desk is very friendly. The downsides to the hotel include its location and valet service. The hotel is located in downtown Miami which is an absolute ghost town after it turns dark. There are a few restaurants nearby, but nothing to do. I would only recommend this hotel to business travelers who need to be in the vicinity. For everyone else, I would recommend a hotel on South Beach. Also, the valet system at the hotel is slow and inefficient. You can end up waiting a good while for your car and the staff is the most attentive to detail.
