Since 1978, El Taurino has been packing people in for traditional Mexican food and its signature barbecued ribs. In keeping with its name, the lively eatery features several bull heads mounted on the wall, along with bull fighting memorabilia and photos of matadors scattered throughout.
The hands-down favorite is the costillas rancheras, a house specialty that grills thin cuts of beef ribs topped with caramelized onions and sides of home-cooked beans, guacamole, warm tortillas and flaming chili.
On weekends, the restaurant serves its trademark barbacoa, a sort of steamed lamb dish that originated in Texcoco, Mexico. Customers clamor for the meat, which is slow-cooked inside an oven covered with maguey leaves, imparting a distinct, tenderizing flavor.
For those who want something a bit more traditional, El Taurino serves up delectable tortas (Mexican style sandwiches) filled with creamy avocado, ripe tomatoes and just about any meat - from beef to pork to tongue. The eatery also has arguably some of the best tacos in town.
Suggestion:Do not eat the red sauce it is very spicy but the green verde sauce is still spicy but is ok to eat once you get use to it. Great on tacos also maybe ask for sauce on the side not on the tacos
El Taurino is at 1104 S. Hoover St. (at 11th Street). Call (213) 738-9197 or visitwww.eltaurino.com. Open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Julian is that person.....he will sit down, explain the different types of coverages and benefits....he will analyze your existing policy and let you know if it could be better, or if he can give you more for less money. He is very professional and organized. You may have insurance, or not enough.....you owe it to yourself to see Julian and give him the opportunity to look at your options......that's money back in your pocket and security at the same time.

Ann not only showed up at my door to notorize documents for me she also explained them in very plain simple terms. She was also very efficient and wasted no time. I found her rate to be a very good deal. She can handle even your fussiest clients in either English or Spanish. If you are in need of courteous, professional, and prompt notaries, do not hesitate to attain their services. I'll tell this to anybody, try them and you'll have a notary for life!

This office has a great group of highly skilled and personable doctors that really care. This is one of the friendliest animal hospitals that I have ever been to and as far as prices they are reasonable. They offer a wide range of services that meet your budget and provide referrals when necessary to places that aren't overpriced and far. The office is very inviting and office hours are pretty good as well
Pros: Parking
they have an online offer first visit and exam free

This is a solid low-cost veterinary clinic. they take all typeshere for spay / neuter procedures (they accept vouchers) and vaccinations. You do not receive the individual attention that you get at some other vets, and you generally cannot accompany your pet to be examined. It's a great economical choice for basic vet services, but I would not recommend it for complex health issues that might require more individual attention or specialists.

When I first got my puppy ,I took my pug there for a nail that was partially broken off afraid that I would hurt his paw if I clipped it off at the break. They charged me $150.00 for it and wrapped it in a special 30.00 splint. Now I realize that sometimes happens and when it does you can get a powder from the pet store that immediately stops bleeding for less than $10.00. I boarded them once there in an emergency and they questioned everything my other vet , who has a fabulous reputation, was doing. Without calling and verifying a pet record that was missing and they should have noticed upon check in, they without authorization prescribed shots and an emergency flea shot as well as put advantage on the pug with a severe history of skin irritations after he had already had his dose of advantage that month, which was very unhealthy to over prescribe to a special needs dog. They accused me of not taking care of him which made me feel terrible seeing my dogs are at the vet every other month for something ,and jumped to conclusions because of his itching, not knowing that he had a skin condition . If they would have called his primary vet or me first, they would have seen that he had been in several times that year for his skin condition, hardly neglect. I was repulsed by their behavior and would highly recommend anyone to go anywhere other than there, if its not an emergency. They prefer over billing to quality animal care.

This is a large salon with parking in the back. After my nails were painted, I was led to a long table against the wall where fans were mounted so that you don't have to turn into a contortionist to dry your toes. I found a lot of magazines to entertain myself with as I waited for my nails to dry. If you want both a manicure and pedicure, it's $20. I find it quite convenient that a grocery and bank is located right across the street. It's nice to kill two birds with one stone (figuratively, of course). They have a small store to purchase a variety of beauty items.

After trying four other nail salons in So Pas, I stopped my search at Signature. I like the friendly, no-nonsense approach. They keep things moving so you don't linger too long, but the work is thorough and top-notch. Cleaner than most places. Pleasant background music; no TV, thank heaven. I like to read and they don't insist on talking to me. Most chit-chat is low key and not in English, so it's not intrusive. Prices are an excellent value. As long as Signature stays as it is, I'll be a customer.
Pros: top-notch manis - pedis; fairly priced; clean, attractive place
Cons: so very minor: parking's on street, not in lot

went to this location a couple of times. The first time I went, I was satisfied. Every time afterwards, something happened. The girls are friendly, but they'll pick up the phone and talk for quite some time while leaving you in wait. They work quickly, but not too effectively most of the time. A friend of mine went once and was cut to the point of bleeding on a basic pedicure. I started going because it was cheap and close to work. I've since abandoned this place for better quality, even if it's a little more expensive.
