The prices at Bromley's border on outrageous. There is a wide selection of housewares and it is nice that it's not a chain. But each item is almost double what one would expect, and there is an overall feeling that beneath the cantabridgian atmosphere there is shrewd economics going on -- which is fine. But this is not a bargain store or close to it, even though its jumbled aisles strive for that appearance.I would be certain to research on line before coming here unless you are buying something small. Also, many other places in the neighborhood for this sort of stuff.
