Keane Eyes Gallery is Magical

I just love the art of Margaret Keane with her wide eyes beauties from babies to babes. This mesmerizing gallery of paintings is located across the street from Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco at 3040 Larkin Street (across from the Ghirardelli ice cream parlor). Most paintings are well into the thousands, but the gallery is worth a peek given how famous she is and how beautiful the art looks in person vs. online. The colors are vivid, her stroke is genius, the works are lovely. You can purchase reproduction prints and small repro paintings for a good price in the gallery, which is what I did - I brought back 2 repro paintings with me on my last vacation there in July 2001.
