It Tiki'd Mai Fancy!

We were in San Diego in May 2005 and while in the Gaslamp District, we spotted the Mister Tiki Mai Tai Lounge and had the best time ever! It was awesome. Even on a busy night, we instantly seated. The atmosphere was very "Posh Polynesian" if you can picture that. We ordered amazing calamari with this delicious sauce and the drinks were strong, fruity, and really hit the spot! It's a great place to go on a date or meet friends to chill and not feel rushed. Everyone was dressed to impress (it's CALIFORNIA, what do you expect) but it wasn't smug at all. Our waitress was very talkative and friendly - something that I really enjoyed all around in San Diego - people were so friendly in that city!
