Any ice cream lovers here? That must be everyone! Haagen-Dazs is especially best during the summer heat, and taste more delicious during that time too! They have so many different ice cream flavors, it will be hard to choose which one to eat! I usually go with my personally favorite, chocolate chip. Ice cream here can cost you anywhere from $4 to $6 depending on if you get a cone or sundae or how many scoops you get and so on. The employees are friendly and clean, and always use gloves when getting your ice cream. The next time you want ice cream, you should go here!

Looking for discounts on your favorite video games? This is your place. They sell great games for good prices. The got X-boxes, Playstations, Gameboys, and all the popular games for them. The store is conveniently located in the Cerritos Towne Center, and the employees love video games as much as their customers. If you ask the employees anything video game related, they will defiantely help you happily. A bad thing is the parking. Not very much parking spots because of its location, maybe only like 4 or 5 spots total. You may have to park a ways back and walk to the store if all the spots are filled.

This store is very similar to The Sharper Image, but not as cool as them. The store is conveniently located in the Irvine Spectrum. What they sell is a lot of cool gadgets, such as massage chairs and hair dryers and so on. I personally like going here just to try the message chairs. I employees are happy and help you sit down in the chair and want you to try it, even though you aren't interested in buying it. The message chairs are great, and maybe i'll be able to afford them one day!!! Also, if your looking for a gift for a friend, then you can probably find one here. Prices for items in the store go a wide range, from $10 to hundreds of dollars. Good luck gift shopping!

This is a pretty good place for studying. There's a starbucks conveniently located in the store, and there's a lot of tables for students to sit on and study while they drink their coffee. It's usually quiet when they study, until the employees have to turn on the blenders to make a frap for their customers. Also, if you get bored or need a study break, you could read one of the many of hundreds of magazines they offer. Also, there's a huge CD section in the store and you can sample a lot of the CD's. Oh, did I mention you can browse around and read books too? The only problem I have is the price of all their items. CD's cost around $15 to $20, while the same CD in walmart or Best Buy would cost $10 to $13. All books are pretty expensive as well, especially the hardcovers. I personally don't recommend buying books, but if you need a place to study, then go here.

Cerritos High was my High School for all 4 years of my High School life. By no means it was a spectacular 4 years, but they were pretty good and I learned a lot about life and education. I thought we had a pretty good math program. Another benefit of the school is the great diversity of students. No one race is dominant at this school. A lot of the teachers are pretty cool, and some are just mean and tough. The librarians are really mean and charge you for bending your book covers. The counselors at the school are great and really guide you through school and try to set you up for your future. The school is kinda big for a high school, but you get use to it right away. I hope that this high school helps and improves other students like it helped me.

American greetings is a lot similar to hallmark, but a different brand. What I like better about American Greetings is the quality of the cards. I think their humor cards are more humorous, and their love cards sound more lovely! They sell also wrapping paper and stuff for all your wrapping needs too. The cards range from $1.00 to $5.00 for the really fancy kinds. The employees are definately a lot nicer here than Walgreens. They smile a lot more and seem to have more fun with each other and the customers. If you had to choose between here and Hallmark, I'd choose American Greetings.

This shoe store is located in the middle of the Cerritos mall, right across from Robinson's May. The store is actually quite small, and they sell shoes for both men and women. The type of shoes they sell are skate shoes and other cool looking shoes. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices of the shoes, as they can range from only $30 to $80 for the really nice ones, but the nice ones go on sale for $30 to $40 too! What frustrates me is that the last couple visits I wanted to get these new skate shoes, and both times they were out of my size. I guess they don't hold much stock in these small stores. The other thing is that I noticed only 1 person works in the store, and maybe everyone else works in the back I guess. So if that person that works that cash register is helping someone, you'd have to wait a while to get service.

It isn't too expensive either, prices will usually range from $5 to $15, and the employees are kind enough to help you find the perfect gift for your friend. This store in Cerritos is bigger than most bath and body works stores, and much cleaner too. You can try samples of their lotions and soaps too. A lot of the times they have discounts when you buy products in bulk, such as a $7.99 lotion will go on sale for 3 for $15, but you must buy 3 of them. The store is located at the end of the mall, so it isn't too hard to find. If you plan on going here, make sure you park on the end with this store is located, or you'll have a lot of walking to do.

Walgreens sells a variety of items for your needs. They sell some candy, some snacks, cheap clothing, and other household needs. However, the prices here are mostly a lot higher than Target and Walmart. There's just no need to go here because of Target and Walmart. For a package of candy that cost $1.50 at Walmart, it'll cost you $2.50 at Walgreens. However, the only postive of note is clipping their coupons from their ads and using those coupons to get items for really cheap. They will sometimes have coupons for blank video tapes for $1.00 and candy bars for 4 for $1.00. You can also get those coupons inside the store too. Parking isn't bad, probably their lot is too big, but it's never bad to have too big of a parking lot.

By no means the Artesia Library is a big library. In fact, it is kind of small. However, it's a pretty nice place. I know a lot of the workers there, and they are all nice and helpful and will do anything to help out their guest with their studies or with anything they are looking for. They are all knowledgeable with books too. If you ask them, they will also hold books and videos that your request too! The library also has a couple computers for students to do research on or to search the web. They just have to reserve a time. The library also has a great selection of videos and DVDs, and even has some new releases so you don't have to pay and rent them at a video store. I also like the collection of music CD's they have too! They also have story time for young kids on the weekends which the kids seem to enjoy, and they have some tutors that help out kids with their homework. If you want to get some homework done, then this is your place!
