La Spiga is a great place to go with your gourmet friend if you want to impress them. They have amazing food, especially their gnocchi, which is basic and perfect with some parmesan. They have an appetizer with HEIRLOOM tomatoes and mozzarella. The bread is worth coming for on its own. It can get a bit busy, but if you plan ahead, it’s not too hard to get in.

I am, admittedly, not the kind of person who would normally shop at the Rainbow Market. My girlfriend dragged me with her last time she visited and I have to say I was impressed. They weren’t that much more expensive than other grocery stores, despite being mostly organic. They actually had honeycrisp apples (organic) for CHEAPER than Safeway. And they tasted much, much better.

Cafe Spice is amazing, and they charge you for it. So here’s a tip: go for lunch. You still get great portions, but you don’t have to pay nearly as much. Their chicken tikka and naan is so mouth-watering that you will be planning your next visit as soon as you leave. The ambiance is a bit fancy, so make sure to dress for it.

The best way to eat Renato’s is to go in and get a slice or two. If you order a pizza to be delivered, the crust is too soft. But when you stop in, they put the pizza in the oven and it crisps up the crust. They definitely make a decent slice. Not something I would make an effort to get a hold of, but something I would get if I were in the mood for pizza.

Greene Street Consignment is, without a doubt, my favorite consignment stores. Almost every awesome piece of clothing that I have comes from there. A black Marilyn Monroe dress with silver sparkles and a black skirt with black film. But they have lots of colorful clothes as well. I have never left them empty handed and without a little less in my wallet.

The staff there is helpful if you have questions and ready to fix a mistake should they make one with your order. They are usually not too busy, so you can find a free mirror to see how you look.

There is usually very little wait time to see him and the adjustment is very quick. He is also ready to give you exercises to do between adjustments to keep yourself healthy and aligned. And he’s ready to repeat those exercises if you forget what they were.

Maple Lanes has some great bowling. They have bumpers if you want them and special deals on games. The equipment is pretty recent and they always have a ball at the weight you want. But the real reason to visit Maple Lanes is the French fries. I have NEVER found French fries as good as theirs. They are the standard by which I measure all others.
