I recently stayed at the Pickwick *M*otel during the Padre season, and it was about $95/night and it was the dumpiest, crappiest, place EVER. Seriously, the bed was like a board, the windows didn't close all the way, the carpet was DIRTY, there was no tv remote, it was TOTALLY stark with nothing but a TV and a BED, a fan that didn't work, cockroaches, DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY bathroom, ripped shower curtains, NO SOAP AND NO SHAMPOO (they later said "oh, you have to ask"), parking is $25/night in a crappy small parking garage, the people that work there are VERY VERY rude...the manager is rude. I asked if he had a AAA discount (because most motels/hotels do offer AAA discounts) and he got all peeved that I asked him. The area immediately surrounding the motel is very ghetto and the people who stay there druggies and prostitutes. No joke... it was very scary. WORST motel experience I've ever had... it was one hundred times worse than the worst youth hostil you've ever been to. Please, stay away from the Pickwick!

American Tire Depot is a great place to buy tires. They are cheap, very reasonable, and if you buy tires from them, they will re-align them for free throughout the duration of the tires. You just go in and ask for rotation or alignment, and they will do it for free. It's a great place for tires and I highly recommend American Tire Depot!

Picture People is a great way to take cutesy pictures, especially with kids. If you want the stereotypical sitting down close up pictures, this isn't so much the place, although you can do those kinds of standard pictures there as well. They do funny pictures and they're oh-so cute! I love them! They do all sorts of fancy cutesy stuff... highly recommend going to them, especially with kids! you can find coupons in the mail or on ebay which offers really good prices!

I took a boat ride with this company and it is great! The captain, Rick, is great... and awesome! It was a very fun experience taking a boat ride around the Newport Beach Harbor. I heard they have a great riverboat ride around the Newport Harbor that shows you all of the Christmas lights they put up. They are very reasonably priced as well and I highly recommend them!!

She offers VERY reasonable prices as she has recently moved from a professional beauty salon (where I originally met her) to her garage that she's turned into a small beauty salon. It's a great place for you to go, relax, get your hair done, and have the special attention you deserve! She is great at doing highlights and weaves as well! If you're looking for a hair stylist in the Santa Clarita area, give Jill a call! Don't spend the hundreds of dollars they charge at professional salons when you can go to Jill, have the professional job done, but at half the cost. Seriously, she's really good. Check her out!

The YMCA of Burbank is a very great place to work out that's not overly crowded like most gyms and is very easily and centrally located near Downtown Burbank and near the Burbank Town Center. If you're not into those huge commercial gyms that are always packed, this is the place to go! The monthly fees are between $30-40, so it's not too shabby a deal! Check it out!
