This place has really improved in the past few months . They have always had a large selection of fabrics, both home decorating and garments. They have Simplicity,McCall's,Butterick,Vouge and Burda patterns at reduced prices. They have a good selection of trims notions and quilting supplies. For the home decorator they have in stock as well as fabric to order. They have a decent selection of the most popular home dec notions and a good selection of trims . They also carry craft supplies and seasonal home dec stuff which is dirt cheap when it goes on sale. Sometimes it's a little slow at the cutting table and check out but the prices are so good it's worth the wait.

One of the best quilt stores in the Northeast. They have a great selection of highest quality quilting fabrics including Japanese, imports Amy Butler, Kaffe Facett,Sis Boom, reproductions from all different eras. Their notions are geared towards the quilter but they have a very well stocked selection of thread zipper and bindings. They offer many classes for every type and skill level of sewer (not just quilters). They are also a Pfaff dealer. The best thing about the Button Box is that every single employee loves their job and the store and their service and knowledge is outstanding. They are now just off Route 9 east behind the Shell Station on Overbrook just before Oak Street in Natick.

I cannot believe they have begun work on an addition to this mall. Transiting onto Speen street to get to the mall is a nightmare during business hours and Route 9 is one big log jam.The parking has gone from bad to worse since the renovations began. Once inside there is a mish mash of shops, with nothing really outstanding or unique. As you walk along obnoxious salespeople in the push carts call out to you, try and put things in your hands orstick something under your nose. it reminds me of a cheap carnival. For dining you have your choice of CPK where the service is bad and the noise level is worse, Friendly's which has the slowest service and greasy food and a foodcourt where Mc Donalds is the safest place to eat. Yuck. I can't think of one redeeming feature in this mall.

This place is great.! I was not much of a sewer before , but the fabrics here really inspire me. If the fabrics don't inspire you, the displays will. They have samples sewn up in all the departments labeled with the pattern and fabrics used . The staff are very knowledable and helpful. They have classes for every skill level and their notions, and specialized supply selection are the best I've found in MA. The quilting fabric section is arranged by color and easy to spend too much money in. I have not used their home decorator services but from what I've seen going out the door it looks like the quality is top notch. Sign up for the mailing lit and you'll get advance notice of sales and coupons regularly.

This shop has a best selection of skateboard equipment around. Their staff is helpful and. If you (or your kids) are just getting into the sport they will sell you appropriate gear in the price range you specify. They will assemble and repair on the spot as well. In the winter the focus is on snowboarding and I've found them to be just as that area. They carry lots of clothing, shoes and accessories as well. Their prices are full retail , but they usually have a sale rack and enough markdowns to find some good deals.

This store on Route 9 buys and sells kids clothing, toys, books and related accessories. They are very picky about the quality and age of what they buy. It's a great place to buy equipment that you only use for a short time - like bouncy seats, bassinets etc . It's also great for Grandma's that need a highchair or crib for visiting grandkids. Books , toys and puzzles are great buys! they have loads of books for 1-2 dollars. They also carry clothing and shoes. They have a rack of designer brands such as Lily Pulitzer, Oilily, Baby Lulu, Ralph Lauren, etc at less than bargain basement prices. The store is often disorganized , and help is hard to come by, but with prices as low as theirs, it's worth a little hunting.

They're a reason you see so many old people eating at Capt.Mardens, You can get a nice meal for a decent price. They also have a pretty extensive menu with a couple of "Specials "every day . Go at rush hour and you could be in for a long wait for a table. You can call ahead and have your dinner to go , but at rush hour it still make take longer than estimated. You can order most items grilled or fried. Chicken and burgers for the non seafood eater in your group. Try the grilled seafood salad. It's delicious!

Great little corner market where you'll find fresh produce , a meat counter and the loaves of freshly baked French bread in addition to the usual staples. You can also pick up an entrées or have a very generous sandwich prepared at the back counter. Great stop for lunch on the way to the park or ball field.
