Just a great guy. This doc is hands off (unless warranted) and very woman friendly. He seems to have the nature of a midwife with all the best MDs' have to offer rolled into one package. If you want to be highly involved in your pregnancy and delivery, this doc is your guy. He does most of his deliveries at Mercy Fairfield, whose staff seems to know him well and enjoy his style. The nurses always know who to recommend, and he always gets high marks.

The women who work at Midwives Care are THE best at what they do. Providing GYN and OB services in a beautiful restored Victorian home, they provide well rounded care. The office is family friendly, with many children present and a casual atmosphere.
The CNM's will talk with you not only about your physical state of being but your emotional and mental state as well, spending what seems to be double the time of OB/GYN MD's.
Crossing my fingers that this practice can return to doing homebirths and birthing center births fot he women who would choose that.

This has to be the best toy store ever. Used mostly by the parent's of the adjacent Waldorf school, this little treasure is one of Cinci's best kept secrets.
We are not a Waldorf family, but we adore heirloom quality and beauty in our children's toys and books. This is the place to find it. It is quite pricey, the hours are really wonky, and it's a far way from my East side home, but I actually enjoy shopping here. And if you can combine shopping there with a school festival to see the handmade Waldorf items, you are really in for a treat.

With a great preop game room with video games, books and toys, a play room for during admission with more of the same- and of particular delight to the kids, a la carte menu room service with kid friendly dishes. We've used Dr. Nelson's services for all of our 4 children, for nearly 10 years now. She is an excellant physician and has really found her calling as a pediatrician. Honest, forthright, caring and very able, she has been through well kid visits, sick and sicker kid visits, sutures, mental health issues, and broken bones with us.
Office staff is friendly and helpful, no attitude here. Parking is at a premium, as the office is located in a row of offices. There is a seperate sick kid entrance, which is helpful.

I really like my physician and his office. They are prompt in returning phone calls, generally have sick appointments available, and Dr. Wilson himself really is knowledgable and caring. In addition, the other physicians in the office that you may see are also equal to Dr. Wilson's abilities.
Parking is reasonably adequate, and the location for East siders can't be beat. This office generally admits patients to Anderson Mercy Hospital.

Valenti salon is a great choice for the East side. They use Aveda products, do good hair and have lots of available appointment times. They seem to work equally well with men and children as with women, and are reasonably price.
The only downfall here might be parking- there isn't very much of it.

The staff is very friendly, high end product and service without the high end attitude.
